Hi there, great theme! Love all its functions.. but there is no manual or READ ME for instructions, not to sure to add new themes to it.. Any ideas :(

The instructions is the readme.html in the ZIP file for customizing the theme.
If you don’t know how to upload the theme, you need to learn FTP and uploading files to your server.
Do a google search, plenty of tutorials out there.

That’s what i thought it was, i re-downloaded the theme and poooof it was there ha. Iv read the readme now, its all setup ready to rock an roll, but how do you add a theme? Is it with Add new post > custom fields ??

Just post as usual.
The plugin will auto create the thumbnail.
Edit the index.php loop section if you want to modify how the front page looks.

Pagebar 2 plugin is for pagination, where it provides links to the content pages number, not the content category, that’s another PHP set of tags.
So which is your problems? The pagebar or categories?

Hi,thanks for this great theme.I have installed it in my walllpaper site(www.bollywood-wallpapers.net) and it work really well.But I am having a problem with the side bar category search function.When I select a category from the list it doesn’t go to that achive page.So can you please tell me how to make the side bar category function work.Now my site is online and you can see the problem there.Thanks for making this premium theme free.

Well that’s the same problem I’m having too.
It seems that there’s no good search plugin for WP, for SPECIFIC searches.
I didn’t create the search plugin, it was an external one.
The one i found was the best I could find, and it didn’t work as you found out like me.
I’m still searching, so if I’ve found a better search plugin, I’ll update the theme here aite.
Plus WP codex at wordpress.org don’t have the tags for advanced search function, despite my search there.

post_class() is a new codex tag implemented in WP v2.7 if i recall.
Either
#1 Upgrade to WP v2.7 and above
or
#2 Remove that tag post_class() in the PHP. I think it’s present in index.php, page.php and single.php
I like it,but i cant download it .why?
I am using mediafire.com file portal.
I believe some user ISP or firewall don’t allow access to the domain.
Try using a an online proxy or disable your firewall.

Looks like there’s some saving problem of the images.
It can’t located the image.
Your server path is at W: ?? Never seen that kind of path before. I tested this theme and the image plugin on a linux server.
Ensure the path to the image/thumbnail folder is correct and CHMOD folder to 777 just to be sure.

This is something new.
I truly believe this is server wise issue, I could be wrong though.
Do you have enough server memory, or webspace?
I’ve searched through your blog and can’t find any mention of the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_thumb()
Have I configured the Post Thumbs plugin incorrectly? My theme is showing thumbs w/in the post but not a preview thumb w/ the post title on the “home page” as yours does here.
Any thoughts?

1. Thumbnail plugin not activated.
2. Path to save plugin is not set correctly.

Can you please tell us how to make those tick boxes in the Advance search like you have it on your website?
Also, please mention the header code to change the logo. After i design the logo and upload, the text and description still appear on top of the logo.
Could you also please briefly describe how did you put the DEMO and DOWNLOAD link on the homepage?

How can we add more categories in the 4b box?
By default there are 12 categories added by you but i want to remove 4c box and add double the categories in 4b box.
After i add more categories in 4b box, its not coming in a row but going down below the image, please help
1. Add more categories as usual
2. I was still clueless in PHP/coding when I created this theme, so the image didn’t correspond when I add more new categories.
3. Edit the image “/images/wordpress-themes-04.jpg” in such a way it will fit the new added categories. Use photoshop, lengthen the height. Use copy/paste/clone function.
I’m sorry, but I’ve tried all of the “fixes” you have posted above, and none of them works for me. I downloaded WP 2.7.1 instead of 2.9.2, followed the readme.html, and all of the things u’ve written above..
The “235px” isn’t even in the style.css, there’s absolutely nothing that has that number.
Could you send me some of your fixes at post @ aune-media.no? Cause I can’t get it to work.
Well, I finally figured out what the problems in header.php was.. You can’t use ‘curly quotes’ , as this scares both the PHP and HTML parses. You have to use ‘apostrophes’..
How does the alakhnors-post-thumb work?
1. Activate plugin
2. Set the correct path for saving the thumbnails.
3. You’re done! I’ve attached the sample image of the alakhnors-post-thumb plugin page in the ZIP file. Use it as a guide.
